About Us

Highfield (North East) Ltd, trading as Halcyon, operate an independent specialist school and two residential homes for young people in the North East of England. Established in 2009, we have a strong track record of delivering high quality holistic care and education.

Each home offers medium to long term care for young people aged 9 – 17. Old Farm School offers a bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of children and young people with social, emotional and mental health and moderate learning difficulties.

Old Farm School, Highfield , and Rigwood House are all currently rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’


Exciting Activities
