INDEPENDENT SPECIALIST SCHOOL

Old Farm School

Established in 2016, Old Farm School is an independent specialist school providing education for young people aged between 11-19, set within a peaceful location near Kilton Thorpe in East Cleveland. The school offers a bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of young people with social, emotional and mental health and moderate learning difficulties. The school has a maximum of 30 pupils at any one time and the outcome of the most recent Ofsted inspection was rated as 'GOOD'.

WELCOME TO OLD FARM SCHOOL

My name is Steve Graham and I have great pleasure in welcoming you to Old Farm School. I am so very proud of our school community. The Parents, Students, Staff and all the multi-agency teams that support us have created an environment in which all students thrive.

The peaceful location, the nurturing environment within the school, and the strong relationships between highly qualified and experienced staff, pupils and parents/carers are the key factors behind our strong track record of success in achieving very positive outcomes for young people.

Our LIFE (Learning Is For Everyone) Curriculum is based on the understanding of what young people need to progress through life. From this curriculum a bespoke package of learning is derived, catering to the individual needs of each pupil. We build upon our school rules of being ready, respectful and safe and transfer those to our learning community.

So many of our students have missed significant amounts of their education. To support them in developing their learning we build upon our foundations of developing perseverance,  questioning, revising and collaboration. This provides the framework to achieve and become the best we can be .  Enjoy looking through our website and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
